Delete your account and data

Delete from inside the app

If you can still sign in, the fastest way is in the app: go to Profile, Settings, Delete account. You'll be asked to confirm, and your account and its data are removed right away. You can also choose an Account Refresh there instead, which clears your pending pitches and discovery history but keeps your profile and matches.

Request deletion without the app

If you've uninstalled Lark or can't sign in, email privacy@larkdating.com from the email address on your Lark account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We use the sending address to verify the request, and if we can't match it to an account we may ask for one more detail to confirm it's you. We complete verified deletions within 30 days and confirm by email when it's done.

What gets deleted

Deletion removes your account and the personal data tied to it: your profile and photos, your prompts and voice answers, the pitches your matchmaker wrote, your matches and the messages in them, your discovery history, and your notification and analytics preferences. Once deleted, this data cannot be recovered.

What we keep, and for how long

A limited set of records is retained only where the law requires it or to protect Lark and its users: transaction and billing records needed for tax, accounting, and chargeback obligations, and a minimal record of a safety report or ban so a removed user cannot simply return. These are kept no longer than required, are not used to rebuild your profile, and are then deleted. Anonymised or aggregated data that can no longer identify you may be retained. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your data and to withdraw consent. Deleting your account exercises the right to erasure. For any other request, or if you have questions about this process, email privacy@larkdating.com.
