Lark is dating where a friend, your matchmaker, pitches you to people they think you'll click with. You approve every match, so you stay in control.
Who is my matchmaker?
A friend you invite. They browse candidates and write a short pitch for you, and nothing reaches anyone until you say yes.
Pitches and Tonight's Pairings
What is a pitch?
A short note your matchmaker, or your own Lark, writes to introduce you to someone. If they accept, you match and can start chatting.
What is Tonight's Pairings?
A small set of people worth a look, refreshed each night. It leads with whoever is most sought-after and fills in with good matches, so there is always someone to see.

What is Lark+?
The dater's upgrade: unlimited pitches for your matchmaker, Super Pitches, sharper matches, and pinned favorites.
What is Solo Lark?
Your own matchmaker for when you do not have a friend to set you up. It writes and sends your pitches. It is its own subscription, separate from Lark+.
What is Duo+?
Upgrades your double-date hunt: unlimited duo pitches, sharper duo matches, and Formation.
Super Pitch
A pitch that quietly jumps to the top of someone's inbox. Lark+ includes 3 a month.
Tailwind
A standing lift, not a one-time boost. With Lark+, you ride higher in every matchmaker's deck for the whole month.
Formation
When both people in a duo hold Duo+, the pair quietly rides higher in other duos' decks.

Suggested openers
A first line drafted for you from the other person's profile and your matchmaker's pitch. It lands in the message box unsent, so it is yours to change. Tap the two-arrow to try another.
Wingtips
An example already sitting in the pitch box, drawn from a real detail on that person's profile (an interest, a stated intention, their city, a job, or something they answered). Free for everyone. Type over it; it is a spark, not a script.
Fly your Lark drafting
On Solo Lark, your Lark drafts a full pitch you can send as is or rewrite. It comes with the Solo Lark subscription.
Match insight
A short read on why the two of you might click, drawn from what is on both profiles.
Do these use AI?
Suggested openers, Solo Lark drafting, and match insight are written with AI from profile details and pitches. Wingtips is not: it is a fixed example pulled from a real profile detail, no AI involved. You always review and can edit before anything is sent.
Safety and privacy
Who can see what I pay for?
No one. Purchases are private: no badge, no label, and nobody on Lark can see what you pay for.
How do I report or block someone?
Open the conversation, tap the menu, and choose Report or Block. Blocking removes them and stops all contact.
